Open House #2
From 2pm until 7pm
Here we go again!
Come to See the Space and/or to Mingle
Haven't seen Ignition Alley Atlanta Coworking
yet? The space is still very raw and we've got lots left to do but come check it out, ask questions, and mingle with others in the Atlanta "community
" of startup entrepreneurs, creative and technical freelancers and anyone else that gravitates to the coworking
concept here in Atlanta. Or if you like, come just to work in the space for a while. And yes, we have fast WiFi already.
We have a lot of beer and sodas left over from last week (we've no left over Diet Coke though :) but if you want to bring something, that'd be great too as Ignition Alley is still a shoestring operation so BYOB. Maybe bring some ice? Let us know in the RSVP comments.
And your Questions!
Even better if after reading our website you have unanswered questions
about Ignition Alley please email them to me at ]mikeschinkel]@gmail.com
so I can do my best to have them ready to be answered and updated on the website.
We are first and foremost interested in enabling a vibrant community to form and prosper at Ignition Alley. If you have suggestions for what you'd like to see, projects that members of Ignition Alley can collaborate on, or how Ignition Alley can best help the community then bring 'em on
! Of course if you make great suggestions don't be surprised if we ask you to volunteer to lead the initiative!
Ignition Alley is located at 696 Somerset Terrace, Atlanta, GA 30306 one block south of Ponce de Leon Avenue one third of the way between Midtown to Decatur. More specifically it is just east of Kroger/East City Hall/Whole Foods and just west of the Clermont Lounge (if you know what that is!)
If you know the area you'll know how to get there but if you are coming from the expressway the easiest way to get to Ignition Alley from I75/I85 is to take Freedom Parkway to left on North Avenue then 2 blocks to right on Somerset and Ignition Alley is at the end of Somerset on your left.
shows it better:
See ya'll there!
After the open house, at 8:30 pm some of us will go to the French American Brasserie
for a rooftop with some folks from the Atlanta Business Chronicle, including @Urvaksh
HOWEVER, admission will be two cans of food for the local food bank. Of course you can make a trip from Ignition Alley to Kroger before the party so you don't have to bring anything unless you want to.
