I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and discovered Doctor Who during high school. At the time, two local PBS stations were showing Doctor Who: KQED from San Francisco would show a complete single story on late Saturday afternoon. It was on KQED that I saw my first Doctor Who story, the Tom Baker story Warrior's Gate. But KTEH from San Jose would not only show a Saturday night story, but would also run single episodes during the week, focusing mostly on the Pertwee, Tom Baker and Davison era. Later, KQED dropped Doctor Who but KTEH continued on, even acquirng the Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy stories and even eventually the complete black and white serials as well.
The Second Doctor (Classic and overall favorite) and Matt Smith (New Series)
Nyssa (Classic) and Amy (New Series and overall favorite)
I've been a member of the Atlanta Gallifreyans since 2005, when I first heard about the group at Dragon Con. I'm a big fan of Doctor Who and, indeed, all British television.
