Passport Renewals, Citizenship Paperwork, and other Embassy Needs

Dear Members,

Dora Vorosmarty ([masked]) is working with Honorary Consul John Parkerson to get a list of Hungarians in the Atlanta, Georgia area who need to do official paperwork with the Washington-based Consul (Ms. Eszter Nagy) from the Hungarian Embassy. Dora is scheduling appointment to handle passport renewals, citizenship paperwork, and other official concerns between the dates of August 27 - 30, 2013.

1) Sign up for a thirty minute time slot for each person in your family that needs assistance at:

2) You will be asked for your name, email, phone number, and your need. (Passport renewal, citizenship, etc.)

If you have questions email Dora at [masked] so that she can forward your question to the right person.

As of now, the location is the World Trade Center, but it is subject to change. If you have an office available for these three days where Ms. Nagy could hold these meetings, please contact me, John, or Dora.

Thank you to Dora and John for your help!

    From Eszter Nagy:

Here is a link to the Embassy’s Consular Section’s website:

The website is fairly up-to-date and has a lot of information about the procedures. Please circulate this amongst the group and applicants, so they can have access to information on translations, fees, required documents.

Also, you can circulate my contact details: my e-mail address is [masked], the phone number is[masked] (ext:231) I am more than happy to answer all questions that might arise and I encourage everyone to contact me before the outposted consular days, should they have any doubts as to what they need to do/have/bring.

Dora is in the process of confirming the schedule and then she will have me email everyone the link to sign up for an appointment. You can also email Dora your info so that she sends you the link as well as me.

Can we renew an expired passport on August 27th at the world trade center as well. This would be so much easier than sending it off to renew and have it done immediately. Let me know. Thanks
