RE: [opensource-91] Virtuemart Question - Multiple Product Purchase Discount

The patch works like a charm.  It took me awhile, because of his instructions, and the line numbers he mentions were off by 100 or so, but what this patch does, is check to see if that CATEGORY is can have a discount (by category id number).  It is also possible to have multiple discounts in multiple categories.

Pretty Cool

John,

Have you googled "Category Discounts"? This might be your best bet.

How many products?  Magento would be great for this.

To all you Virtuemart experts…I have a need for an answer to this issue:

I have a client that has 10 products.  If you buy one, you pay $19.95.  If you buy 2 or more, you pay $14.95 each.

I have it setup already that if someone wants to buy 2 or more of one product, the price for each drops to $14.95 – no problem.

BUT if someone wants to buy 1 of Product-1 and 1 of Product-2, the prices stay at $19.95 – they should change to $14.95 each.

AND if someone buys 1 of Product-1 and 2 or more of Product-2, the price of Product-1 stays $19.95 and the others drop to $14.95 each – they should all drop to $14.95.

I need help THIS MORNING…Please send the answer.

Thanks,

John Stevenson
