Hi Patrick

Depends on whether you're doing this full-time or not. If you are, give this a read:

If it's just an extra source of income, $50hr would probably work great.

Hi Patrick,

You will find that most people will want a set price per project…depending on their wants and needs and what components you are required to purchase.  You can mention your Start price and adjust it depending on their needs.  Then you can have training and additional work by the hour.

Look around and find a good contract and make sure it covers everything…and then over time, you will find that you need to adjust it depending on the client or clients.

Subject: [opensource-91] starting webdesign

Hello All,

I have been lazy but I'm finally going to build my own website for a can get more clients.  The clients I have  been getting are friends or by word of mouth.  I have a couple of questions ?

1.  What' s a good  rate to charge I thought about $50hr or is it better to charge by different packages because I'm just a one man show and I use templates most of the time just modify them.  Here are some examples site
       www.khurlmusic.com
       www.brighterstardevelopment.com
       www.buniqueboutiquega.com

2.  Do anybody know where I can find good wedesign contracts, terms and condition for free or not ?

Thanks all, I will take any suggestions the group has.
