    Mike,

The slides for this meeting should soon be posted. If you're looking for a Ruby/Rails tutorial, I recommend "Ruby on Rails Tutorial" by Michael Hartl. The book is available online at http://railstutorial.org. You can also ask question on our Google Group - http://groups.google.com/group/atlrug-emeraldcity

Hey you guys I wasn't able to attend this event. I ended up needing to have a vital dental procedure done the day before. I really wanted to make this even but because of obvious reason I could not.
My question is, were there any notes or material posted any where of what this lecture covered? If so, I appreciate it if somebody can point me in the right direction of obtaining them. I'm new to Ruby and I'm trying to get caught up or at least a good start :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
