Re: [ruby-83] One Permanent Ruby on Rails Opening in Nashville, TN

A debate over recruiter emails seems to come up over and over, with some folks in favor of job posting, and some against. Some other meetup groups I'm a part of have separate mailing lists for job postings vs. discussion. Would that be a workable solution here? Seems like those who are interested could subscribe to the job postings list, and others could ignore it.

It'd be awesome to build a gmail plugin that would stuff them all in a label automatically and allow us to hit the spam button when appropriate. If that's too much effort, it'd be nice to have a clear recruiter policy laid out for the mailing list so we can just block obnoxious ones. (I'd personally campaign for if the company is not named, it gets trashed)
