I don't see anything wrong with you asking and I understood exactly what you meant. I will keep my eyes and ears open and If I hear of anything I will pass the information along. Good luck :)

This is my day of ambiguity, based on some of responses, I think my clarification needs a clarification
Please forgive me, English is not my native tongue so I think I managed to confuse some of you
I have got a lot of responses that understood me correctly, but also many that didn't :)

So here is my last attempt to phrase it clearly

I have a candidate to offer, not a position, a good friend of mine that is looking for a job as a junior front end dev

Thanks to all of you who replied so far, this is very exciting, seems the market is very vibrant nowadays

I promise not to email the entire group again about this (except saying thank you after my friend finds a job)

Thanks again, and sorry for spamming you 3 times till I get my English straight!

If I understand correctly you understood my message as if I'm offering a junior position
Pleas forgive me for the ambiguous title, I can understand how you would have read it this way

So just to clarify, I know someone who is looking for a junior front end position, I'm not offering one :)
Sorry about the misunderstanding, and I agree with every word you said to that matter

Thanks!

You're going to have to acquire and give us a lot more information about the opportunity, the company, the culture.

I know it's a junior position, but I don't see the value in not investing just as much into attracting junior developers.

Here's two good things to look over and use when reaching out. Perhaps pass it along to the person who is looking for a talented junior developer.

For the latter, if your company can speak honestly towards having most if not all of those checked off, don't just say so, explain it. :)

tl;dr: You're investing in something that changes the company, the culture, and most importantly, people's lives. Value that.
