Atlanta Ruby Meetup Group Message Board › Rails Contractor needed for a Social Gaming site
THINK Interactive has an immediate opportunity for a talented Rails developer for a (roughly) 2 month contract to help us with a social gaming platform we are working on. The codebase is Rails 3.2, using PostgreSQL, with specs in rspec2 (and a little bit of cucumber for good measure). The front-end is HTML5 and jQuery, using Pusher for some real-time UI updates.
This will be the sole Rails developer on the project, though you would be working with our HTML and jQuery folks on the front-end side. So you'll need to be comfortable running on your own with a project. I helped architect and build it up to where it's at, so you won't be totally blind. We just need someone with time to focus on it for a mid May goal.
The codebase is in good shape, and just needs some adjustments for a new enhancement we are launching. Some remote/after-hours work is fine, but you'll need to come in to our Midtown office at least a couple days a week to interact/collaborate with the rest of the team.
If you're interested or would like more details, shoot an email to devjobs [at] thinkinc.com with a resume or LinkedIn profile, along with links to some apps/sites you've worked on and descriptions of your involvement.
