Atlanta Ruby Meetup Group Message Board › Help needed for a few hours of work
|A former member||
We are looking for a Ruby developer to quickly put together a small piece of code to enable push notifications for our prototype app. This is just a few hours of easy work and we gather that most of you can even do it while half asleep.
The code would simply be polling the backend (Cocoafish/ACS) using the same REST API calls that the mobile app uses for in app notifications, and use the Cocoafish push API to send the notifications. It can be hosted on Heroku.
The prototype app can be found on the app store as egos.me if you want to have a look (use event code 777).
We know this is a very small piece of work, but we can only resume testing in closed events after this function is available so we are stuck and would appreciate some "help for hire".
We can be contacted at: contact at egos d0t me.
