Hi all:
It's been several months since you've heard anything regarding the Atlanta Search Engine Optimization Meetup Group but I've got an announcement for you. We have a meeting planned for October 18th 2007 on Search Engine Marketing.
Truth be told, the meeting will actually be presented by my other group The Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs. I took over this group to keep it from dying way back when its original organizer left town but with all the efforts I've put into making the
Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs a great group I simply have not had the time to organize meetings for this group.
That said, the
RSVP on the Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs Calendar [1] for this meeting. So if you are interested in attending you'll need to join the Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs as it doesn't work to manage RSVPs in two places.
We have room for about 75 people and I am certain this topic one will be "sell out."
I don't have the final details ready yet but I have numerous people who have been recommended to be on a ~five (5) person panel. I'm also going to call for more nominations in a follow on email. If this event in anything like
our prior events on Funding or Legal Issues it's going to be a can't-miss event. Just check out
our meeting feedback ratings if you want to see what kind of events we've been putting on.
Once I get the panelists nailed down I will be updating the site and emailing you to let you know more about the upcoming event.

Are you really interested in seeing this group continue? If yes, what types of meeting topics would you like to see? Would you be willing to actively put time into growing this group?
