I am a brindle, male, adopted from TN and brought to my forever home here in GA
great to see fellow Danes there :)
Haha... No, it was not just you... She asked me right off the bat if Ruby was fixed because she wants to breed him. That giant would terrify poor Ruby! I told her to look online but that most people at the dog park are not trying to breed.
Hey Arlene we love Brodie too!! I can't wait until Walter is a little bigger so he isn't so intimidated by the older dogs but we think he did really great for his first time out. He slept all of the way home, he was one tired pup. I hope we see you and Brodie next week at Piedmont!
Hi Arlene, We now have a 13 week old brindle male named Walter. We just joined the group (as in today) and can't wait to meet everyone! Walter gets his big dog vaccines tomorrow and we plan on going to the meet this Sunday. Will we get to meet you guys there?
Arlene you crack me up. Go ahead and post it on the calendar. (Olympic park fitness) Would you like to have access to schedule meet ups? I won't go because its too fora for a drive to have me dragged all over by Seamus, but this (and the Doga) is the fun stuff I'm always looking for but can't find.
No worries... you didn't scare me; I feel good that I got it checked and she is alright. Now I know we just need to be really mindful of her intake and try not to divert from her healthy diet to any great extent. She gets walked daily but I'm trying to get her to play more in the back yard too. Thanks.
Hi, Arlene - She seems to be much better - not nearly as sluggish...think it must have been the heat because we had her vet appointment today and her thyroid tests came back normal and she checked out great otherwise, as well. She has also lost 7 lbs since her last visit 2 months ago so she is on the right track. Glad I checked it out though... Thanks for checking!
