The Gwinnett Braves contract is finalized! The Atlanta Braves Contract is in process, thanks for showing your interest a few weeks ago.
This event is for a 3 hour training course that every volunteer must complete prior to staffing a concession stand. If you are unable to attend one of these two dates, let me know and I will try to find another training event for you. 75% of funds raised at these concession stands will go directly to employ disabled kids in a summer jobs program. 25% of the funds will go to fund programs for the Atlanta volunteers.
Every person who volunteers for 1 or more games, will be listed on the Atlanta volunteers T-shirt with their total games listed on them. Anyone who volunteers for 5 or more games will get a personalized Atlanta Volunteers polo shirt with their name on it, anyone who volunteers for 10 games or more, will get a personalized Atlanta Volunteers track suit. For every 10 games you volunteer for, the Atlanta Volunteers will donate $100 to the nonprofit of your choice or to the Atlanta Volunteers event of your choice. Eight people could raise $1,000 for their cause in a few weeks.
This summer we will employ two to six high school or college kids with disabilities in a summer jobs program designed to pioneer research into disability teamwork. Teams will consist of 2 or 3 kids with either developmental or physical disabilities and they will help each other so that as a team their disabilities disappear and they can operate their own team building business for corporations using sports.
