When I was a child, I always got an Easter basket, and I remember the excitement of seeing all that it had inside then went outside to hunt for the brightly colored eggs. We won’t provide the boiled eggs, but we will come together to create over 200 baskets. This is our third year doing this, and we have always had a really great time with fake grass flying everywhere…I’m still finding it hidden in the nooks and crannies of my home!

We ask that you bring baskets, artificial grass, candy, and any fun items that you think boys and girls from less than a year to teenagers would like. Below is a list of the items we will need to make the children in homeless facilities happy.

baskets with handles
artificial grass
plastic eggs
wrapped candy
small toys
art supplies
any items you think the children would like

Family Easter baskets can also be donated. They can include: laundry basket with an array of family size personal care items, laundry detergent, bleach, dryer sheets, toilet paper, chocolate Easter candy, and Easter cards.

If you can't attend and want to donate items, we can use all that we receive and thank you for your generous donations. We hope you can join us for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon making Easter Sunday special for some special children.

Everyone brings whatever they like and can manage. We will use all of the items that come. We have 21 volunteers signed up now but all will probably not come and/or donate. Plus there may be more that may come. Plus I will fill in what we don't have after the grass clears. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I look forward to seeing you in April. Thanks for your help.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
