  • This location is shown only to members

Lift Up Atlanta has partnered up with the 1st Saturday Feed the Homeless event to go out in the streets of Atlanta and feed homeless men and women hot meals

The food is prepared in the kitchen of Senior Citizen Services Center, packaged and set for distribution from 9am to 12pm

Then we go out and distribute the meals from 12pm to 1pm.

You can choose how you volunteer

We need volunteers to cook and package food

We need volunteers to sort clothing and toiletries

(9am to 12pm)

We also need volunteers to distribute the food

(12pm to 1pm)

Every single job is important!

We have an ongoing need for clothing for men, women and children, bottled water and toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene items, soap, hand towels, lotion etc)

Hot dogs & buns

hamburgers & buns

Ketchup & mustard

(these items are needed)

You can donate these hygiene or food items or just lend a hand

It is all important!!!

    Hi tiFFANY,

I signed up for this event but the email confirmation I received stated 1:00-5:00pm. However, I'd love to come in w/daughter at 9:00am instead. Is that ok?

@ Reiko. You can drop off the supplies at the Senior Citizens Services Center from 10am to 4pm Monday through Friday. Ask for Jerrell or Jemell and let them know that it's for the Feed the Homeless program.

good morning team members! I am very excited about volunteering for this event. My life has finally slowed down a little bit (been focused on mom thru her chemo treatments for breast cancer), & I am now super ready to be involved wherever I am needed! My 21 year old daughter is also excited about coming with me to EVERY EVENT YOU HAVE! i will bring several packs of hot dogs & buns. (will commit to more if needed as time gets closer). Have a blessed day everyone.
