RAINBOW VILLAGE

www.rainbowvillage.org

(transitional living program for homeless families)

said that our volunteers were so AWESOME

that they invited us back

to lead the activities for the families

at their Thanksgiving dinner

We need volunteers to interact with the families

to play games (please bring your favorite game to share),

help Harriett (our arts and crafts guru),

and lead other fun family activities

We are totally open to any fun ideas you have

for the activities for the families.

We are in need of a face painter and any children performers.

Please feel free to share your ideas.

You can also drop off items for the Thanksgiving baskets at 6pm

The menu list for the Thanksgiving basket is: turkey , chicken, ham or food gift certificates, aluminum roasting pan, lettuce, celery, onions, potatoes, apples, oranges, stuffing mix, rolls or bread, cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, gravy, canned vegetable and fruit, cake mix or fixings for a pie, and apple juice or other juice

Lets have fun!

Roz is enthusiastic and super kind, truly fit for the "hostess" job at the event! :) The food pantry and the presentation by the kids were all very organized, feels great to be part of such an event!

I need a little muscle/manpower around 2pm tomorrow (Thursday) for a pickup. A company wants to donate 300 plus canned goods and possibly some frozen turkeys. If anyone has that time to help, please let me know. I would truly appreciate it.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
