Hometown: Sandy Springs, GA

I have an extensive background as a professional writer and editor. I am also quite proficient with computers, smart phones, and most forms of current technology.
I spent four months volunteering for Catholic Charities of Atlanta and The Center for Pan-Asian Community Services as part of my college internship; these four months were dedicated to working with at-risk suburban Hispanic youth in Sandy Springs.
I would pleased to see the group work with some organizations advocating for LGBT rights, environmental health, political/religious prisoners (Amnesty International), education, poverty, sustainability, and a multitude of other just causes.
My name is Ian Johnston and I live in Sandy Springs with my partner, Wayne. I have a passion for philanthropy and hope to establish a career in the non-profit sector, though I have been hampered by chronic illness.
