Hello, all of you fabulous Atlanta Area Volunteers! How is everybody?!? Reachout America, here, to share some volunteer opportunities with you amazing folks! (Thanks, Alan!)
The Reachout America team is finishing up the behind-the-scenes work for our super-exciting Lakefront Dream House fundraiser, and NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP! Here's a little bit about Reachout America 501(c)3, and what's happening in our little corner of the world:
Reachout America is a small Georgia-based nonprofit with a national outreach, big dreams... and an even bigger heart. Our mission is to provide whatever funding, support, equipment, and assistance is necessary for kids with special needs, and who suffer from significant illness, to participate in inclusive therapeutic and special-interest camps. A great deal of our funding and focus goes to support access to Hippotherapy (Horseback Therapy) camps and classes. Research has proven this type of therapy to be incredibly effective for kids who face all sorts of different challenges, but Hippotherapy ranches are very expensive to maintain. We work to help keep these camps in operation, and get the kids who need them there to participate. We also sponsor individual children with health challenges to participate in special interest camps of their choice. You can learn more about Reachout America here: www.ReachoutAmerica.com
We've been in existence for 6 years now, and right now we have the opportunity for exponential growth. Reachout America is conducting an online raffle for a gorgeous $1.8 Million Lakefront Dream House! Here's the main website for our fundraiser: www.lakefrontdreamhouse.com
Reachout America wants to have the most significant nation-wide impact that we possibly can, and to never have to delay in helping a child attend the camp that they most want or need, so this fundraiser has to be a huge success. For this fundraiser to be a huge success, we need EVERYONE to know about it. That's where you come in!

Keep track of the likes and follows you get for our Facebook page or Twitter feed, submit the info to me by midnight on Friday, September 21st, and I'll announce the top three volunteers (and the prizes they'll receive) the following Monday! We are so very grateful that there are so many of you wonderful people out there who are willing to share your energy, talent, and skills.
