Creative Doldrums: Finding Inspiration and Opportunity in the Ordinary

I’m creative, you’re creative. Heck, the creative freedom that we have with web design and development is the reason why we’re doing it, right? But even we can find "dry" spells. Even as a full time entrepreneur I can, at times, feel like nothing inspires and I find myself looking for a creative and inspirational boost.

I want to share with you my method of getting out of that inspiration rut - a way that I find "opportunity in the ordinary." Sometimes it’s the everyday challenges, the things closest to us, that can help get us through that creative ceiling for our customers, our clients, our own projects, or even our business. I will use some of my previous startup ideas as use-cases and you’ll leave feeling more than just inspired - you’ll have a method and strategy for making sure you’re never without inspiration.

Drinks and light snacks will be provided.

Looks like I might not be able to make it this evening.

Damn shame too, I wanted to meet John and talk gaming. :)

Anyone who has a start up called 8BIT and has an obvious appreciation for old school gaming is my kind of people.

Maybe we'll get a chance to talk next time, eh?

Is this really a 3-hr event or is that including beer/bar time afterward?

where is best parking for this?

    March 28

    • chad altemose

There is deck parking at the biltmore and across the street (5th I believe). Also metered parking right there if you prefer but if you use meters make sure pay through 10pm since park atlanta will write you a ticket 1 second after your time expires.

Hey guys - I signed up for this but now cannot come due to a schedule shift. Since I already paid, I would like to donate my paid admission to another member, if you're ok with transferring it.
