Evolution of a Designer w/ Dennis Estanislao

Fast-paced, rapidly changing, and constantly evolving.

That pretty much sums up our industry, right? As quickly as technology grows, so do the experiences we create and the demand that is expected out of designers.

In The Evolution of a Designer, we're going to take a journey to the very core of what the designer's role has evolved into, why we should evolve, and more importantly, how we're going to evolve. Together, we'll find out how to learn the skills beyond Photoshop and grow in communication, business, and technology to become better designers.

We're going to explore about how we can get better at getting the most out of our clients, our projects, our teams, our designs and most of all, ourselves.  We'll take an inspiring and entertaining look at simple, practical steps  to transform ourselves to go beyond more than just pushing pixels.

About Dennis Estanislao (@fwdpxl):

Dennis is designer/front end developer based in Atlanta. Formerly a 3D & motion graphic artist and recovering Flash Developer, Dennis is currently a User Experience Lead at Cynergy, an award-winning experience agency. Dennis is also one of the organizers of Remix South and is an active member in the Atlanta design community.  Dennis' broad experience ranges from working in digital agencies to internal in-house design & software development teams and has created everything  from consumer facing sites to enterprise software applications for clients and companies of all sizes.

When not in front of a computer obsessing about pixels, looking for his golf ball in the woods or playing on Xbox Live,  you can usually find Dennis spending most of his time with his wife and two sons.
