I'm a writer first and a designer second. Or maybe I design with words. Or communicate with pictures. The truth is, I do a little of everything, and everything I do is web-based. As a writer, content strategist, graphic designer, social media manager and digital marketer, I push ideas at lots of different audiences in ways that engage and motivate them to do, buy, wear, vote for, donate to, eat, drink or watch something. To that end, I’ve worked for governments, colleges, entrepreneurs, community theatres, humanitarian aid groups, cod boat captains, indie rock bands, politicians, political action committees, accounting firms, tattoo artists, nightclubs, national magazines and local newspapers, and I’ve helped them establish, position, maintain and grow their brands using a full complement of marketing collateral.
