LEVERAGING MOBILE APPS FOR YOUR WEB-BASED BUSINESS

*** Please PREPAY via Paypal

You would have had to be living under a rock to not realize the growing business and consumer interest in mobile applications and the explosion opportunities for leveraging mobile via the web. But serving a mobile market it much different than serving websites to desktops and requires a very mobile-specific strategy and experience. Get it wrong and you've wasted your time and money. Get it right, and laugh all the way to the bank.

BUSINESS FOCUSED, TECHNICALLY INFORMATIVE
The focus will be primarily on business issues and strategies, but can also move into the technical realm when and where applicable.

FORMAT
We'll open with a 5 minute intro and then the meeting will follow our recently successful "round-tableless" format with several featured participants who've been pre-selected to participate because of their experience, but the participation is open to all. The more participation we receive the better.

FEATURED PARTICIPANTS

  • Eli Wendkos is product manager for Social Media & Messaging at AJC.com where he manages the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's mobile web and SMS campaigns. He is a member of the IAB's Mobile Platform Status Working Group, and as their product manager for R&D he has also worked closely with the mobile group at Weather.com.

  • Andrew Lunde is a highly-respected local consultant since 1998. One of his recent projects was fandrivemedia.com where he built a system based on customized Drupal CMS to allow seamless experience between online, embedded, and mobile use of sports event gaming activities.
