Bootstrapping a Web Business
The JungleDisk Story: from Idea to Sale in under two years and for only $500
IMPORTANT - ABOUT PARKING
This evening will be shared with a very important Ga. Tech Football game so parking will be very tight. IF you plan on
parking in the deck behind the Centergy building
be sure to arrive early (6pm?) AND
bring a printed a copy of this announcement (just in case) to show them you are NOT going to the game (otherwise they will charge you $30 to park.)
OPTIONALLY, you can take the MARTA train to either
Midtown Station or North Avenue Station; it is a 4-5 blocks walk from either station.
Who should attend
Anyone interested in learning the story of how a company with 2 years and no external funding was able to be acquired for a significant payout for the founders. Aspiring startup entrepreneurs
Format & Presenter (Dave Wright of JungleDisk)
This meeting will be all about
Dave Wright (
@jungledave), founder and CEO of
JungleDisk. Once we get through housekeeping we'll give Dave the floor.
Find out how Dave bootstrapped the company from a a simple idea to a multi-million dollar exit in two years with no outside capital. Jungle Disk's story is a great example of how cloud and SaaS applications can be leveraged by a startup to keep burn down while delivering a high quality product to a huge audience.
