The ATL Card Sharks are headed to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway and music festival.

FLIGHTS: Search www.kayak.com for deals and discounts. Keep in mind, SWA will begin flying out of ATL soon, and Airtran does great deals to Vegas also. Airline tickets go on sale every Tuesday.

With that said, flights and hotel prices will start to go up as we get closer so get busy making plans to enjoy an amazing weekend getaway.

The Orleans Hotel and Casino usually has really good pricing for their Rooms. It is a very nice hotel less than a mile from the Strip. Whenever I choice to stay in a Hotel or friends and Family visit. I recommend the Orleans.

Ok, I'm a bit crazy on researching things. I found RT Air, 6 night stay at Harrah's w/free breakfast buffet each morning, RT airport to hotel transfers w/free checked luggage for $540 per person based on double. Not too bad for a 6 night stay w/air +

The Orleans hotel rate of $400 for 4 nights is single occ...with a roommate it's $200/$50 a night per person. That's pretty good.

I only bought tickets for those who paid in advance: KG, Williametta, Adrienne. For everyone else, I wanted you to know where we are sitting so you could try to get seats nearby. Ticket price is $60 + $10 per ticket processing fee + mailing fee. If possible the rest of you should partner up to at least save on the mailing fee.

6 Flights are booked (that I know of). As you all book your flights, please send me your itinerary (airline, flight #, arr/dpt date and time) so I can put together a schedule to let you all know when and where to catch up with each other. It helps with carpooling also. Thanks!

www.groupon.com getaways has 4 nights at The Hard Rock Hotel Vegas Strip for $303 which already includes $18/day resort fee. It's $59/night double queen occupancy w/o resort fee.....dates 4/26-5/2 available now.
