Ryan Taylor is a passionate artist and programmer specializing in object-oriented architecture, mathematics for computer graphics, and both static and motion design. In the past year, he has spoken at a variety of industry events in Atlanta, Costa Rica, Orlando, Portland, and Salt Lake City, as well as Adobe MAX in San Francisco. Ryan's work has been featured in HOW Magazine (International Design Annual) and Guidelines For Online Success (Taschen). He also recently co-authored the Adobe AIR Bible (Wiley) and was a major contributor to the Flex 3 Cookbook (O’Reilly). Though Ryan's primary focus remains on Flash/Flex/AIR, he has been actively developing native applications for both the iPhone and Android platforms as well.
