Thanks Andy. You hit the big points that I think are important about UX - building trust with your stakeholder, capture emotion and having development actively involved throughout the process.

Andy is a great speaker and his presentation was unique to say the least.

Thank you Andrew, this was a great subject. Coming from a design background, I have had to learn to work with developers and never understood why there is such a great divide between us. These struggles lead me over to the development side and I'm attempting to combine the best of both in my practice. I became tired of hearing "that can't be done" or "this is the the way it has to be built". A little stubborn; yes, but I know there is a better way if we all just open our eyes and ears; the experience will reveal itself.

Great presentation and points. Very useful.

Andrew introduced me to a new thought process of approaching development.

I didn’t find the overview of old material that tantalizing. Additionally I thought a couple of his conclusions were incomplete. Meaning that what he seemed to purpose as causation is actually the midpoint of a of a larger picture.
