Where can I get the list of accountants that you went through?

All, I'd like to echo something Josh said in his presentation about finding a bank for your startup. He mentioned using Chase, and I agree that they make small business banking very easy (mobile deposits, good online banking, and lots of branches if you use cash). I would add that starting a personal relationship with a business banking professional is really beneficial if you might be looking for loans or lines of credit in the future.

If you're interested in Chase, I would recommend the local Austin guy I work with, Robert Sanchez ([masked]). He only works with local small business accounts and the fact that he gives me the time of day when my business makes so little money, speaks volumes in my opinion. He also helped me out with some of the low-balance fees Chase charges too, which was great when I was getting started. Can't promise he'll be able to do the same for y'all. Cheers.

Trying to get the organizer to upload it into the Capital Factory locker on doccaster.com. People can download it their and others in the area can discover it.

I will wait until the next meetup. I think Joshua had a great point about saving space for people that are new to the startup scene in Austin.

Joshua, getting 185 registered to attend any meetup group is quite an accomplishment. You are obviously doing something right. Congratulations!

Ditto. Just changed my RSVP to no. I'll be looking forward to the next one.

Holy smokes! There are currently 171 people marked as attending the meetup tomorrow. I thought this would be a popular meetup but I had no idea it would get this fantastic of a response!

Capital Factory is big, but I don't think we can hold that many. I'm guessing not everyone will show up, but if I were you I would arrive early to guarantee a spot.

If you are NOT new to the Austin startup community, you might want to skip this one and give someone room to get in.

Appreciate the further information! Fresh off the boat two weeks from Ohio/Asia and am anxious to learn more about how to get involved in my new home. Love your city!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
