Android & Mockito

Greg Amer from mobile application developer SimWorks will provide a
detailed discussion on mobile development with Android and some of
the benefits and tricks of Android development plus a demonstration of a cool Android based LBS application they have developed. Also come and see one of the first G1 Android devices in the country.

Richard Paul will be speaking about Mockito, a java mocking framework: http://mockito.org/....
The talk will cover the basics on using test doubles in unit
tests, specifically using mocking frameworks. The talk will
also show examples of Mockito in action detailing the mocking
styles available. These examples should hopefully illustrate
how Mockito helps localise and simplify unit tests.

Gah, same day as the iPhone tech talks. Would someone video it for those who can't attend?

Karl - I was going to mention this to you but you bet me to it - I'll take my camera along to record it, and take power this time so I don't run out of battery again :(

Play! was the name of the new web framework I mentioned last night. Java, not specifically groovy.

"Discover a clean alternative to bloated enterprise Java stacks. Play! focuses on developers productivity and targets RESTfull Architectures"
