Range of drinks was awesome - thanks :-) Could the vegetarian pizza be labeled or put somewhere so we don't have to do end to end systematic checking of every box on the table again? “ Enjoyed the night, thanks for inviting me. I thought splitting me up into two slots actually worked to my advantage. Not sure why we all ended up taking longer into the evening, so if I or others took longer than we should have, then I suggest timeboxing it and telling people when they have 10, 5, and no minutes left in the presentation. Just have an A4 piece of paper with "10", "5", and "0" ... essentially what we did at some points with webstock :) ”

“ You asked about ideas for the format, what we would like to see and hear and any thing we could give to the group. I like the idea of providing one subject of something non technical like the case study for the NZ Hearld. One subject that is technical in nature and one that is a group disccussion orienated. A debate on current subjects and thoughts within the industry. Subjects for presentations: Best practices Multi Lingual web sites Starting out experiences, moving forward experiences for web development professionals. Site designing. Flash Design. Web Project management. Customer Management. If people are interested I could present a topic on Web Enterprise Development and what Systems Adminsitrators expect from a Development Team\Web Application. This would be based on my experience at ASB Bank and looking after all of their web sites for the last 6 years. Maybe also a disscussion\debate on Service Orientated Architecture, (SOA) design concepts. Darrin ”
— Darrin R. on Mar 9, 2007.
