The Auckland Web Meetup and Microsoft would like to invite you to this very special meetup on HTML5.
This exciting event will be bringing in Giorgio Sardo from the USA Internet Explorer team and Robert O'Callahan form the Mozilla group and members from his team to talk about whats new and how the HTML5 standard is progressing.
On this night we will be feating a talk from both Microsoft and Mozilla but will be finishing the night with a panel discussion which will also includes Shift's creative director Ross Howard.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Bennett McElweeFascinating to have reps from Microsoft and Mozilla in one room. The Microsoft sotry was more about PR, though they showed some nice tools. The Mozilla guys were more compelling from a developer's perspective. Overall, it was more about demos and browser release plans than about HTML5 itself. But still a good night..

Darren HallGreat session, not only HTML5 but IE8 vs Firefox! It was a big meetup - standing room only which is about the only criticism - not enough seats.
