This month Web09 is flying in from Wellington Matthew Holloway co-founder of Creative Freedom Foundation. This foundation was started by him and his wife to address serious issues in the Copyright Amendment Act which comes into effect on the 28th of February which is LESS THAN ONE MONTH AWAY. Their goals are:
- No Guilt Upon Accusation Law
- DRM Free New Zealand
- No Companies Snooping on Your Internet
Next up from the upper reaches of the north island, we have Vaughan Rowsell (Voom Studio principal). Vaughan is coming down form Kerikeri and will be talking about Google App Engine and why you should look at this platform to running your next web application. This will be an introductory look at some of the pros and cons of App Engine and whether you should consider this for your next project.
Hopefully a nice cool hands on demo for our last spot, nice and quick.
