Introduce WebRTC

Introducing WebRTC....

WebRTC offers the potential to create web apps that offer radically different kinds of communications. It enables users to communicate directly, peer-to-peer, using audio, video and/or data.

This talk will focus on what WebRTC is and how it works, with demonstrations of example applications.

Come along and enjoy some WebRTC fun!

Just a quick note to say that if you want to learn JavaScript or jQuery, I'm running two courses next week at tCube.

    JavaScript: http://tcubedublin.com/events/javascript-from-ground-up-workshop-day-1/

    And jQuery: http://tcubedublin.com/events/jquery-fundamentals-workshop/

Thank you to the MMUG organisers who kindly suggested that I offer these courses here.

Thanks hugely for the positive feedback regarding the WebRTC talk. :-)

I hear the requests for slides and examples, so I'll put them online in the next day or two and get back to you.

Peter, is there any chance you can upload the examples on Github or elsewhere online if possible?

Thanks for great intro. Did a bit of a search and found there are some SDKs for native iOS and Android apps to communicate with web app clients by WebRTC. http://tokbox.com/opentok/libraries/client/
