Hi, I'm active in the local secular community and a political junkie to boot.
Nope, first timer.
I am. I'm most interested in issues involving reproductive rights and religion in public schools.
Yes
Yes, especially the teaching of creationism as it affects science education, and reproductive rights and access to medicine and health education.

We enjoyed meeting you at Pedro's bbq. If Joe or I can help you in your new post in any way, please let us know. We'd love to get more involved. You're going to be great.
Congrats on your new leadership position with SDNA Michael. Think you'll do a great job!
Hey, Michael, I'm excited to meet you! Thanks for doing this, and I'll put in a plug for more hikes and possibly a book discussion group...

Super! You'll be great!
What good news to hear you will be heading this up~! Sorry to see Pedro step down, but looking forward to the group under your tenure:)
Welcome to the group, Michael. I must say that we do not often head South, toward Encinitas, etc. However, if you can make it to San Marcos/Vista/Es
condido then you will find a group of affable atheists awaiting your company. Please RSVP "yes" or "no" to our upcoming events, and try to attend an event ASAP. We looking forward to meeting you in person. Please contact the leadership team with questions or comments.
Welcome Michael. Since you live in Alameda I wonder if you will be able to make any of our meetings in Foster City or nearby. There's also a new meetup of UU Humanists & Non-Theists of San Francisco. They put out a website with other local Humanists and related groups in the bay area. Check it out at http://sfhumanists.org![]()
. We are small and mostly a discussion group but there is a large humanist community in Palo Alto, also far from Alameda.
Welcome to HFSD, MC! It's about time we got some fresh cuteness up in here, and fabulous shoes, no less! I hope to see you at the Reason conference this weekend or at the FRRF Annie Laurie Gaylor talk Sunday afternoon. MC
thanks for your help with book Unimpeachable Verdict. It has much that needs to be said. Bill Bakeman
My conclusion
Believing that god exists or believing that god doesn’t exist is polar opposites and essentially at some level is the same exact thing. If we move to the halfway point between the plus and the minus we come to the center where we leave opinion behind. We stop playing the human game and start advancing spiritually. It’s not about God it is about you. You are the one here learning. Life is the teacher. Stop worrying about God. God, whether there or not, is not our concern.
