I've lived here for about 15 years.
I suppose everyone has a different definition, but I tend to enjoy heavier reading.
Yikes, that's a hard question, so I'll list some of my favorites: Jumpa Lahiri, Ian McEwan, Michael Lewis, Juilian Barnes, Alice Munro, Charles Bukowski.
Mostly, I read literary fiction, both modern and classic. I also read some non-fiction.
Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl.
I'm always on the lookout for new authors, and this group sounds like a fun way to compare notes with others.
If you enjoy discussing books with avid readers, this is a good group for it.
