In the club since 2006 when we only had 100 members. Times have changed and cheers to Gregg!
I have owned/ridden all types of bikes over the years - from Honda CBX 6 cylinders to Silverwing and GoldWing. Just traded my 15 year old ACE on a 2011 Can Am Spyder. Love her so much - named her Bella. Just completed 6700 mile trip on 2013 Can Am RT Limited. Yes, Bella is still in the garage.
Started out 20 years ago with the beginner's MSF and then later took the Advanced Rider's MSF course on my Harley Sportster with a bunch of motorcycle cops back in PA.
A group that shares the love and brotherhood of motorcycling and not just the brand. Everyone is welcome in this group and I missed you guys when I moved to Florida last year!
It's like family without the dysfunction!
Welcome to the group Joan.
Joan it was nice to meet you today. Hope to do some more riding with you some time.
Oh No worries! There is always next time! Happy Trails to you!
You didn't happen to snap a picture of me on the bike did ya? With helmet? Geesh, talk about having a bad hair day...
Yes, very excited to get in those hills this weekend and have some great rides and good times! Florida just won't be the same. Have a good weekend too!
Joan, you are very welcome. If I can make a couple of suggestions... Get a .22 cal semi auto (rent, borrow, or buy) and use that to learn shooting basics. Hand hold, sight alignment and picture, breathing control, and trigger control are all the same regardless of gun caliber. Just like learning to ride a motorcycle, start with a small non-intimidating gun to learn the basics, and then apply the basics to the larger caliber firearm... Plus a .22 is MUCH cheaper to shoot so you can shoot more...
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. And like you said " see you on the water or road soon!"
Hey, Joan! Love the Oasis! One of my favorite venues!
