Intro to aquaponics 3 hour workshop

  • Apr 20, 2013 · 9:00 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

Join us for a 3 hour workshop at the new farm location, from 9am-12pm. we will cover aquaponic basics, system design and function of all sizes, and tour the commercial facility.

If you would like to join the afternoon class, from 1-4 pm we will be covering the construction of the AP-300 system. In this How-To class we will walk through the construction process of our most popular food growing system from start to finish. A handout is included with a parts lists and step by step instructions.

It is not required that you attend the Intro to Ap class in order to attend the how-to, only that you are comfortable with the basic concepts of aquaponics, as we will not be covering basics topics during the how-to workshop.

For those just getting started in aquaponics and those who have been experimenting, this class is a must-do. Designed to save you the time and expense of trial and error, students will leave with information not offered anywhere else.

The workshop is $55 or 2 for $100.

Please bring a chair if you have one, i have a few here. I will have plenty of ice water on hand.

hope to see you there,

The class was fantastic. The volume of information was astounding. It is clear that Rob has many years of hard-earned experience and he draws from it like a well! This was a class of no fluff, all practical information and he was able to answer all questions presented off the cuff, without hesitation. Was not bent on teaching aquaponics "his way". instead presented with a variety of methods and gave others credit when due. Though he presented a printed agenda, so much was covered that it was difficult to stay on target. We did go over time but was well worth it. His set up is quit impressive.
