Once again, not exactly Celtic.... but have you ever been to a Celtic festival where there was not a portrayal of the Viking invasion?

The History Channel has produced an outstanding, and historically accurate series portraying Ragnar Logbrok, king of the Vikings. It has been well received and has been renewed for a 2nd season. The first season aired 9 original episodes.

We'll show 3 episodes back-to-back, every other week for 6 weeks. As I did with Game of Thrones, I'll cook up some dinner for myself and anybody else who would like to show (ask those who have come - so far we've had beef ribs, chicken wings and whole barbecue chickens). You are welcome to bring whatever you'd like or nothing at all. I enjoy cooking on the weekends and it is no trouble to me to make enough for everyone coming.

Hope you can make it!

Will you be moving the start time up to 6:00, it being a school night and all?

I was thinking of the host, who must be hostly till the last guest leaves. If 7:00 is truly fine with you and all, it's fine with me.

I like the idea of 6 pm, but I'm willing to go with whatever works for Kirk.
