One of our members Craig has graciously offered up this event for us to attend. The trick is, we need to see how many of our members are interested in attending on Feb 3 at 7:30pm. If there is enough interest we might be able to work out special perks. I also listed this on the calendar but lately not everyone is receiving calendar updates so I wanted to make sure it went out through the email list as well. Sir Walter Scott's novel, "Bride of Lammermoor" is being presented by the Austin Lyric Opera as the famous "Lucia di Lammermoor."  This is one of only two operas with a setting in Scotland.  

 

On Friday, February 3rd at the Long Center for the Performing Arts we would like to arrange a Kilt and Scottish Dress Night.  A chance to wear your Scottish finery and enhance the atmosphere of the evening.
