Austin Flow Jam meets up every Tuesday from 8pm–midnight at the Texas State Capitol. If it's raining, the group still gathers, but does so under the Robert Crenshaw Pedestrian Bridge under mopac on the northside of Town Lake.
Come learn, share, and play every Tuesday Night with other flow artists. This free weekly skill share is geared toward learning new concepts, improving your skills, and helping others get deeper into their flow.
What are the flow arts?
Flow arts is an umbrella term for a variety of different skills involving the spinning, throwing, and manipulating objects that we call props or toys. In many ways it's like a blend of dance and juggling.
Who should attend?
Everyone! Whether you are a seasoned performer, practice the flow arts as a hobby, or are completely new and don't know quite where to start this event is for you. We also welcome jugglers, acro yogi's, other circus artists, and people who do things to come play too!
***Parking is free on the streets around the capitol after 6pm on Tuesday nights***
