Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

would like to have an answer soon

What's your favorite fiber?

I like merino wool and silk

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

a blanket

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

I don't know yet. I only want to make simple things, but I always want them. So knitting probably will be a skill I maintain if I can make it work for me.

Introduction

Hi I am a sewist generally, but have long wished to learn to knit. I joined the group a while ago but have never come to a meetup because I really don't have first clue how to knit.
