Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

MYSELF THIS TIME, SINCE 2009

What's your favorite fiber?

NO FAVORITE, YET, IF EVER

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

2 BLANKETS (ONE TO SLEEP ON, A THICK ONE, AND ONE TO SLEEP UNDER) AND A HAT TO KEEP MY HEAD WARM BUT I WOULD EMBELLISH THEM. I EMBELLISH EVERYTHING I MAKE

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

I QUILTED FOR 20 YEARS, SEWED SINCE 1964, I EMBROIDERY AND DO BEADING. IF I LEARNED, I WOULD HAVE NO REASON TO STOP

Introduction

i used to crochet in my 20's but never really learned how to read instructions. WHEN MY DAUGHTER FAILED TO TEACH ME HOW TO KNIT, I DECIDED TO PICK UP CROCHETING AGAIN. SO, EVEN THOUGH I AM HAVE CROCHETED, I FEEL THAT I AM A BEGINNER.
