Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

My x-husbands Grandmother taught me two crochet stiches close to 20 years ago. I learned the rest on my own and with the help of a very good friend :)

What's your favorite fiber?

Depends on what I'm making! :)

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

I like to make things that are useful so I'd probably start with something I needed :) I do like to stray from patterns every once and awhile.

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

lifelong passion

Introduction

Hello!! . . . I moved (April of 2010) to Austin from So. California with my husband. I have been crocheting for probably close to 20 years and just recently learned to knit. Love my new yarnie friends and look forward to making more!
