Introduction

My husband and I and an ark full of pets moved to Wimberley two days before Christmas. My daughter taught me to knit in November. We're both from Ohio. She just bought a house down here, too, and moved in this week.

Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

Self taught crochet about 45 years ago. !!!!-am I THAT old???!!! Made a HIDEOUS pair of green mittens for my father. My darling daughter taught me to knit last December when I was at her house in the freezing DEEP beautiful snow in Ohio.

What's your favorite fiber?

Anything SPARKLEY

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles, what would you make?

A woobie.

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

no passion, just a pleasant "alpha wave" generating habit. These days they call it "The New Yoga".
