Introduction

Hi everyone! I picked up knitting on a whim in 2006 and decided to join this group to learn more. Now I can't stop knitting and have more yarn than any one person needs!:-)

Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

I'm self taught along with help from fellow meetup members! ;-)

What's your favorite fiber?

I love the feel of alpaca, but also like other wools and cotton.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles, what would you make?

A blanket for the cold nights! :-)

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)
