Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

I taught myself using a Better Homes and Gardens book that my mom had in her bookshelf. In fact, I don't think I've ever had help doing crochet work. Knitting I could use all the help I can get!

What's your favorite fiber?

Not sure but the softer the better.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

I mostly make blankets so most likely I'd end up with a huge blankie!

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

Does crocheting off and on for some 20 years count as a life-long passion? Knitting has yet to make it's way into my heart but I'm also having trouble with it, so it's hard to love it yet.

Hi! I'm a fairly new knitter but long-time crochet artist. Well, artist might be a stretch but I can make a nice blanket. :) Looking forward to participating when I can!
