Introduction

I am self taught on crochet, not very good yet though. I can honestly say that I love the time I've spent with my needles in hand! And I really really REALLY want to learn to knit!

Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

I'm self taught mainly or at least trying. I started trying 8 years ago. Not successfully though. But in the past 2 years I completed a crochet-on-the-double lapghan and, just recently, a long scarf! I want more more more!

What's your favorite fiber?

I don't know yet. I'm new!!!!

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles, what would you make?

Hmm cashmere on a deserted island? Does it have to be cashmere? Well..is it tropical or is it a cold island? Tropical...hmmm...I'm thinking the softest beach blanket ever and a fishing net so I could catch my food and survive and clothes.

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

OH lifelong! I've been trying to teach myself for a long time. I love it! It's peaceful and meditative and gives this ADHD girl something to do with her hands! LOL
