Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

Taught myself with books and online videos. Have to reteach myself knitting every time I try a new project. Crochet 7 yrs, knit 4 yrs

What's your favorite fiber?

Hmm...depends on the project but I do love alpaca and other wool blends. Cashmere is a bit too expensive for my taste usually. But then I do own a set of Addi Click circular needles. Can you say LOVE?

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

Warm blanket and socks for rainy days..headbands...clothes because you don't want to be naked when they come to rescue you..other utilitarian items

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

Lifelong for sure

Love to craft! Taught myself to crochet my first winter in Colorado and taught myself to knit a couple years after that, though admittedly I'm much better at crochet than knitting! Happy to be back home in Texas :-)
