Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

I learned to knit from a friend a few years back and just taught myself crochet a few months ago.

What's your favorite fiber?

When I was in Portland, I visited a LYS called Knit/Purl and fell in LOOVE with a beautiful fiber called Handmaiden Great Big Sea Yarn. It's a lovely blend of silk and merino wool. Very lovely. However, since I'm poor, I use I Love This Yarn for a majority of my projects. :)

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

I'd knit a canopy that I would prop up with big sticks to keep the sun at bay, a bikini...and then I'd yarn bomb all the palm trees for some visual stimulation. :)

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

lifelong knitter/hooker! :)

Hi! I'm Sarah. I'm a south Austin dwelling graphic designer and dog mom with a passion for hooking! I first learned to knit 4 years back and taught myself crochet a few months ago and I'm addicted to it! I look forward to getting to know you guys!
