Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

I am self-taught for the most part- 6 years. The Internet has helped me a lot!

What's your favorite fiber?

I like organic cottons and Blue Sky Alpaca wool.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

Well I don't know that I'd need cashmere in a warm climate, but I'd have plenty of time to make tons of socks. ;)

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

I hope it will stick with me for a lifetime!

Introduction

I started knitting 6 summers ago after picking up a kids' step-by-step knitting book. My knitting abilities are still narrow, limited mostly to baby hats and booties. Projects I'm excited to start and welcome tips on include socks & bead-knitting.
