Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

my great aunt taught me to crochet after my house burned down when i was 8. ive recently started teaching others basic crochet, which is fun.

What's your favorite fiber?

i like bamboo. its very smooth and i love the fact that its the most renewable textile on the planet.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

is the cashmere in unlimited supply? being practical and nearly transparent in my whiteness, i'd make shelter first. a nice tent, a sleeping roll, a pillow and blanket. then we'd move on to clothing. :)

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

i learned to crochet when i was 8, so i'm pretty sure its going to be a lifelong thing. ;)
